ABOUT HOOT 'n NANNY HOLLER

Hi, my name is Camille. Brian and I would like to welcome you to Hoot'n Nanny Holler!

We retired to a small farm just outside of Niota, Tennessee several years ago. We moved from Colorado, but now call Tennessee home. When we moved we brought all of our rescued pets. That was quite the move with goats, alpaca, chickens, dogs, cats and a very loud Amazon parrot named "Gabriel".. Camille retired from animal control and even after retiring, continued fostering animals, Her specialty was fostering special needs, sick and animals that were still nursing their babies. So, we ended up with a "few" extras along the way. Since the move we have sadly lost a few pets, but added more rescue animals to the mix. We still have most of the animals we transported out here, plus a pair of donkeys, three bunnies, a couple more dogs, a feral cat colony, a couple new cats, a three legged goat named "Spirit" who is onery has heck and a very spoiled pig named "Charlotte" who has full run of the place. They all love having visitors as long as the visitors don't mind a little slobber and extra hair.

In addition to caring for the animals, we love gardening so our shop offers dried herbs that we've grown and dried right here on the farm. We offer herbs in bulk, small packets or in pretty little jars for your kitchen shelf. We also offer a variety of herb mixes and homemade skin care products (salves and balms) made from fresh grown ingredients.

Over the past sever years Camille has created a fairly extensive herb and flower garden that she uses to create the tinctures, salves, balms, bath oils, bath salts and other organic herbal products. Each product is created to address different health and beauty issues such as creams for eczema and psoriasis, products for acne or aging skin, and herbal tinctures for all kinds of health issues such as Feverfew for headaches, Echinacea to boost immunity and help recover from colds and flu, Red Clover for female health, plus many more. She can combine herb for custom tinctures. Most of the herbs have a blog on this site explaining the benefits they can provide.

As you will see in the photos, in addition to all the animals Camille loves to create mixed media arts and crafts using paints, wood, and repurposed or found materials to create one of a kind, mixed media arts and crafts. We have a laser engraving and cutting machine that can be incorporated into our arts and crafts or just engrave signs, maps, charcuterie and cutting boards for beautiful gifts. Almost anything she creates can be personalized for a very special gift.
